Our Eagle River project has taken a major leap forward! Just weeks after breaking ground on this exciting lakefront addition, the structure is now fully framed, wrapped, and prepped for roofing.

This transformation shows what precision planning and teamwork can accomplish in a short time. Here's a behind-the-scenes look at the progress we've made so far:

🔨 Framing the Vision

Our crew completed the full wall framing for the new addition, ensuring the structure was engineered for both durability and beauty. The exposed beams, strong trusses, and attention to detail make this addition feel like a seamless extension of the existing log-style home.

Inside, the tall vaulted ceilings already hint at the open, airy space this will become—designed to maximize views of the surrounding forest and lake.

🏠 Wrapped and Weather-Ready

With all exterior walls up, we’ve wrapped the structure in Tyvek HomeWrap, protecting it from the elements while we wait for the roofing phase. This vital moisture barrier ensures the home stays dry and secure during construction.

We’re also proud to partner with Dunn Lumber, whose materials helped us achieve excellent framing results while keeping the job on schedule.

🪵 Roof Built for the Northwoods

The intricate roof structure is now complete. From every angle—inside and out—the craftsmanship speaks for itself. Plywood decking is laid, underlayment is in place, and we’re ready for shingles.

The steep pitch and exposed gables not only enhance aesthetics but also ensure this roof is built to stand up to Wisconsin’s winters.

🔜 Next Up: Roofing Installation

Our next step is installing the shingles, which will complete the building envelope and allow us to move into interior work—electrical, insulation, and finishes.
